Visual Identity for a cinema with philosophical focus in movie screening. The concept challenges the classic idea of hierarchy with a focus on the ideas in the movies and takes visual inspiration from the history of the film medium. As a reference to classic movies the core-identity is in black and white with color used as emphasis for example for specific events where it is relevant.

Risoprinted booklet with one of my own texts. As the text is about how structures repress human unfolding and interaction i designed an optically adjusted modular font from rectangles, which at distance form an entity, but on closer inspection do not interact.

Design of a journal for the writing group Faust – a writing group operating from the bookstore Faust in the Copenhagen-neighbourhood Nørrebro. As the journal is an expression of how very different voices can form an entity i used three very different typefaces(Sabon, Unica and Courier New) within the same grid. Perfect binding with softcover made by hand.

Visual identity for a Heavy Metal Festival. The identity is inspired by aesthetics of the early underground Heavy Metal-scenes and based on the concept of "onomatopoeias" – sound words – derived form Heavy Metal. A colorpalette consisting of only black and white and halftone pictures was derived from old metal posters and flyers. Each year a new grotesque is combined with the antiqua to give each year its own "sub-identity".
